SECTION V (Health Hazard Data)

Threshold Limit Value: N/A

Effects of Overexposure: Irritation to eyes, nose and throat may be caused by vapors. Long term exposure to Polyvinyl chloride has caused cancer in animals including a rare form of liver cancer. Other target organs include brain, lungs, hem and lyphopoietic. If exposed and irritation persists seek medical attention immediately.

Emergency & First Aide Procedures: In case of contact immediately wash skin with soap and copious amounts of water. EYES: flush with copious amounts of water for 15 min. Assure adequate flushing of eyes by separating eye lids. If inhaled remove to fresh air. Remove and wash contaminated clothing promptly.
